She sings as she lives
The words erupting from the heart of her
Her voice like a canyon echoing all she knows
Wondering wandering through the past
Rising at last like a bird diving from above
Into the blazing darkness, her future
Unknown, ready for whatever comes next,
Always at home in the space
Between the light and her shadow.
